Started real estate in Huntsville, Alabama in 1998, became a broker 2000, then launched my own company in 2001 which held licensing in AL, TN and FL. Moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2016 and began to restart my real estate career with RE/MAX Specialists in 2024.Designations earned through years of experience and real estate education include CRS, CRB, SRS, SRES, ABR, MRP, ABR, CDPE, GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) - in AL, TN and FL, as well as membership with Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, and was presented with the Alabama Arthur B Pope Award for dedication to real estate education after traveling to eight states for in classroom training, accumulating over 650 hours of continuing education in the year of 2002. In an everchanging market, I believe is very important to stay informed and be able to pass knowledge to the people we work with, so they can be equipped with making the best decisions possible for their personal housing goals. In 2022, married Joe Barker, a retired Navy veteran with a daughter and two grandchildren. We also have our very special dog-child Gracie, a fluffy white little Maltese. Joe has recently earned his Florida real estate license, and we look forward to becoming active as a team in 2025.
